Is it possible to get rid of the 8 desktop mess and put windows classic on instead. I prefer a much simpler desk top, also I don't want touch screen so classic is perfect for me.

Where is the Start menu? It would be even better if it were interactive so that clicking on a "Hotkey" description would also perform that function. I keep a text file of Windows 8 Hotkeys on the Desktop which is handy.
